BBS Takes on Euro Tripper: A Weekend of Challenges, Cars, and Community
February 19, 2025Our journey to Ft. Myers for Euro Tripper was anything but smooth sailing. As first-time sponsors and exhibitors, we were eager to make an impression. However, upon arrival, we were immediately thrown a curveball—our event crate was nowhere to be found! Despite instructing the shipping company to deliver it directly to the venue, a quick tracking check revealed it was still sitting at a nearby depot.
With no time to waste, we took matters into our own hands. Renting a van on the fly, we embarked on a last-minute rescue mission to retrieve our display. The process was frustrating and time-consuming, causing us to miss the scheduled Friday night Meet & Greet. While disappointing, we still managed to connect with a few enthusiasts who stopped by the booth the next day.
Saturday morning, we were up before the sun, making our way to the park to set up for the show. The morning fog created an almost cinematic atmosphere as we arranged our booth, ensuring everything was ready before the gates opened. As always, BBS came prepared, featuring an impressive lineup of wheels tailored to the Euro Tripper crowd.

- An Audi S5 Sportback sitting aggressively on FI-R wheels in Citrine Gold
- A stunning RS6 wagon on LM wheels, in the Wagoons booth and seamlessly blending with our booth

As I made my way around the show, taking the opportunity to network with vendors and attendees, I couldn’t help but notice several booths showcasing BBS wheels on their display cars. One standout was Uro Tuning, featuring a stunning District Green Audi S6 Avant fitted with BBS CH-R wheels in a custom White Gold finish—a truly eye-catching combination.
It was incredibly refreshing to see so many vehicles proudly sporting BBS wheels, especially given that this was our first time exhibiting. The widespread presence of our brand throughout the show was a powerful testament to BBS’s reputation, quality, and enduring influence in the industry.
It was a true celebration of European automotive culture, with Volkswagens, Audis, BMWs, and Porsches proudly displaying their BBS setups.
We came prepared—not just with wheels, but with exclusive BBS merchandise for the fans. The Florida sun was relentless, and it didn’t take long for our custom BBS RS umbrellas to sell out. Enthusiasts were eager to grab some BBS gear, making our booth a hotspot throughout the event.
The day was a huge success as a steady stream of enthusiasts stopped by the BBS booth to talk wheels, grab exclusive merch, and get their raffle sheets stamped. What made Euro Tripper truly stand out was the brilliant engagement strategy by the organizers.
To ensure every vendor got maximum foot traffic, event organizers used a creative raffle system that encouraged attendees to visit every vendor. Each participant received a sheet listing all exhibitors, and the goal was simple: collect a stamp from each booth and get a chance to win a prize. This interactive approach not only increased engagement but also boosted our merch sales, as many visitors who initially came for a stamp left with BBS gear in hand! Amongst the prizes was a BBS Limited Edition Skate deck.
Euro Tripper wasn’t just another car show—it was a high-energy gathering of Audi, BMW, Porsche, and Volkswagen enthusiasts who live and breathe the European car culture. With enthusiasts traveling from as far as New Jersey, Georgia, North Carolina, and even Germany to be part of the action, the love for Euro cars in Ft. Myers is undeniable, and the sheer passion from the crowd proved that this burgeoning city is home to a thriving automotive scene.
Despite the initial hiccups, Euro Tripper turned out to be an incredible experience. The energy, the cars, and the passionate Euro scene made it all worth it. With such an enthusiastic crowd and an unforgettable atmosphere, one thing is clear: Euro Tripper is a must-attend event for any true Euro car enthusiast, and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
