Bimmer Invasion LA 2025: A Landmark Moment for BBS
September 30, 2025Pomona, CA – The BMW community descended on the Pomona Fairplex for Bimmer Invasion LA 2025, and one brand dominated both the spotlight and the show floor: BBS. From an exclusive Thursday night kickoff party, Invasion Industry Night Presented by CSF, to the main event, Presented by IND DISTRIBUTION, BBS reinforced its place as the cornerstone of BMW culture, bringing heritage, innovation, and style together in unforgettable fashion.
The festivities began on Thursday night at Finish Line Auto Club, when sponsors, organizers, and media were invited to an exclusive celebration marking the third anniversary of Bimmer Invasion LA. The evening set the tone for the weekend: energy, exclusivity, and world-class presentation.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by two rows of BMWs lined up outside, half of them proudly riding on BBS wheels. Influencers and media swarmed those builds to capture content with some of the best BMW builds on scene. The pull of the BBS brand was undeniable, its presence elevating every vehicle it touched.
The highlight of the evening came with the unveiling of a 2025 BMW M2 Competition from IND Distribution, painted in an IND individual Auratium Green and equipped with BBS FI-R Evo wheels in Citrine Gold. The combination of bold color and precision-crafted wheels stole the show, setting a benchmark for what the weekend would deliver.

Inside, the party was just as engaging. A live DJ curated the soundtrack, an open bar kept the energy flowing, and hors d’oeuvres made their way through clusters of enthusiasts, influencers, and VIP clients. More than just a celebration, the night created a space for connection—where BBS could strengthen bonds with loyalists and introduce its legacy to new audiences in an intimate setting.
On Saturday, September 6th, the BMW community and thousands of spectators converged on the Pomona Fairplex grounds this summer for Bimmer Invasion LA 2025, and one brand stood firmly at the center of it all: BBS. With a commanding presence in the main pavilion and International representation, plus a record number of award-winning builds, BBS once again proved why it remains a cornerstone of performance, style, and innovation in the automotive world.

This year’s Invasion marked a major shift from the sun-soaked outdoor setting of Irwindale Speedway in 2024 to the air-conditioned halls of the Pomona Fairplex. The move indoors gave the event an entirely new atmosphere—five sprawling pavilions, each themed to showcase different eras and elements of BMW history.
At the heart of it all was the Main pavilion, where a stunning BBS wall display debuted for the first time at an indoor venue. The display offered enthusiasts a close-up look at BBS’s signature craftsmanship—highlighting various BMWs on BBS forged wheel designs in intricate finishes, and the kind of timeless engineering details that have defined the brand for decades.

AR Motorwerkz played a critical role in supplying all the stunning builds on BBS wheels, ensuring the booth had a strong visual presence. IND Distribution, one of BBS’ key distributors, also made its mark by showcasing several impressive builds on BBS, including the striking M2 that ultimately went on to claim Best of Show.

BBS’s footprint at this year’s Invasion wasn’t just massive, it was international. Representatives from Germany and Japan traveled across the globe to join the celebration, emphasizing the brand’s worldwide influence. BBS Motorsport representative Sandro Haberstroh and BBS Japan President Yuki Nitta led a team of industry veterans, including Alex Katayama, Phil Takeda, Takashi Murakami, and Hiroki Tahara. Their mission was clear: connect directly with U.S. dealers and enthusiasts, including BBS Ambassador Crystal K (@clksupra), listen to real-world feedback, and experience firsthand how BBS continues to inspire the BMW community. Their presence underscored what many fans already know: BBS is not just a wheel manufacturer, but a global culture driver.

Walking through the fairgrounds, it was impossible to miss the dominance of BBS wheels. From classic multi-piece icons like the RS and LM to modern motorsport-inspired designs such as the FI-R and FI-R Evo, BBS was everywhere. The sheer variety of builds—track-focused machines, concours-level restorations, and street-driven showpieces—reinforced just how deeply ingrained the brand is in BMW culture.

And it wasn’t just about being seen. BBS also made its mark through exclusive product drops, including the debut of a BBS Motorsport skate deck that sold out instantly, generating a buzz both inside the venue and across social media. To add to the excitement, BBS members from Japan, Germany, and the USA were on hand to sign the decks for those who requested. BBS merchandise was sold for the first time at Bimmer Invasion LA, giving fans a tangible way to represent the brand beyond the wheels on their cars.

When the awards ceremony came, it was no surprise that BBS-equipped cars dominated the stage. In total, 12 builds on BBS wheels took home honors, spanning categories from paint to performance.
Standout winners included:
· E30bruhh – Double Award Winner
· John Lau – Best M
· Essj0n Macias – Best Paint
· Jason Parts Score – Best M
· IND Distribution– Best of Show
Each victory highlighted not only the dedication of the owners but also the enduring impact of BBS wheels as the foundation of award-winning builds.

Bimmer Invasion 2025 delivered its biggest showing yet, drawing more than 10,000 enthusiasts and showcasing over 1,500 BMWs spread across every pavilion—a record-breaking turnout that set a new benchmark for the event.
For those who attended, one thing was clear: BBS isn’t just part of BMW culture—it is BMW culture. And after this year’s Invasion, the bond between the two has never been stronger.
